| Association of Latvian Castles, Palaces and Manors (ALCPM) ALCPM was established on the 6th of June 2000. Initially association united 27 interested members. Now (for 01.09.2008) there are 92 members in association. These persons are museum personnel, municipal staff, businessmen, school directors and teachers. In total our current members are representing 82 castles, palaces and manors throughout Latvia and this number is increasing proportionally year by year.
Association is a public organisation, supported from the membership dues. Association organises seminars, field trips and other education activities not only in Latvia, but also abroad. Our members use every possibility for exchange of experience and adoption of methods. Usually every general meeting and direction session has other location as well as every seminar and promenade, - such disposition helps in getting acquainted with various historic monuments of architecture primarily castles and manors. Various education programmes dedicated to the restoration, renovation and conservation questions and to the problems of authenticity have been organised for members and interested in association with professionals.
